Poem about change

I step into the future
Don’t know what’s in store
I’ll be walking new pathways
Learning more
Meeting new faces,
Making new friends,
The time has come to move on,
It’s time to change.

It’s hard to leave the things you know and understand
And set out on a journey on unfamiliar land
It’s hard to leave old friends behind and walk away,
But the time has come to move on, it’s time to change.

But my friends are a part of me,
A part of my personality,
Always there to guide me
Wherever I happen to be
The past leaves its mark on me,
And makes me the person I am
And the good things go with me
When it’s time to change.

The seasons turn
And the years move on
Nothing ever stands still
Changing day by day,,,
Good wishes go with me
And speed me on towards the sun
The time has come to move on,
It’s time to change.

The seasons turn, and the years move on,
Nothing ever stands still, changing day by day
Good wishes go with me
And speed me on towards the sun
The time has come to move on,.
It’s time to change.

Change for the better?
Change for the worse?
Who can tell it better…
It’s for me to make it work
The sun is up and shining
And there’s a rainbow in the sky
I’m going to find my pot of gold,
It’s time to change.
It’s time to change, It’s time to change,
The time has come to move on,
it’s time to change.

There are two thing to aim at in life: first, to get what you want; and, after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second.

Spider on computer …

Saw a spider on my computer today when I felt a little down and sad … I felt it was a sign so I looked up the meaning of it:

Spider Symbolism

The Spider is an ancient symbol of mystery, power and growth.

We take our first lesson from the ancient symbol of the Spider by contemplating its web.

Just as the Spider weaves a web, so too must we weave our own lives. The Spider symbol meaning here serves as a reminder that our choices construct our lives. When the Spider appears to us, it is a message to be mindful of the choices we are making – and ask ourselves:

  • How are my choices affecting my life?
  • How can my choices improve my life?
  • In Native American symbolism, the Spider is a symbol of protection against torrential storms. In yet other Native American lore accounts, the Spider (personified as the Grandmother) was the teacher and protector of esoteric wisdom.

On this day of your life, Jessica, I believe God wants you to know…
…that it is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is
just another word for growth.

Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place
of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign
to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of
real and important progress.
The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who
doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as
a terrific sign and celebrate your struggle.
